Lego Basics (RIL101)

Recommended for Grades 1 through 4: Will start with building basic Lego robots but kids go crazy when their robot moves and does things which they ask it to do. Its the best way to introduce a robot to your little one. 


Curriculum 

– Introduction to LEGO hardware and the EV3 controllers

– Introduction to the ROBOTC programming language 

– Building and operating your first robot 

– Programming with sensors – touch, sound, light, ultrasonic, encoder 

– How to incorporate remote control into your programming 

– Coaching for Robotic competitions 

Lego Advanced (RIL102)

Recommended for Grades 3 through 7: Its fun just building and moving the robot but imagine when their robot can "sense" and make decisions based on their programming. How about kids having fun at the same time learning the basic programming skills? 


 Curriculum 

- Introduction to LEGO hardware and the EV3 controllers 

– Introduction to the ROBOTC programming language  

– Building and operating your first robot  

– Programming with sensors 

– touch, sound, light, ultrasonic, encoder  

– How to incorporate remote control into your programming  

– Advanced programming concepts 

– loops, conditional statements, variables  

– Advanced sensors 

– acceleration, color, compass  

– Troubleshooting and tips  

– Coaching for Robotic competitions   

STEM Robotics (RIS101)

Recommended for Grades 7 and up: Anyone can sign up for it and learn how the basic robotics components really work. They will learn the basic STEM components, do different projects which will ignite their STEM interest and get them going with programming. 


- Arduino based curriculum

- Basic electronic components introduced

- Programming concepts introduced 

- Hands on STEM experiments using Arduino

Programming 101 (RIJ101)

Recommended for Middle/High School students: Introducing JAVA programming first time in Nashville. JAVA/Java Script teaching will be handled by instructor with more than a decade of professional experience programming in JAVA/Java Script .
